This article is a great example of how to get the job you want, not the one you feel you have to take. I’d add an example from our own Mr. Jeff Clark, who started fresh out of college, with the goal of landing a marketing role in a hip, growing, internet-oriented firm in Boston. Seth Godin blogged him, fer the love of Pete. And we hired him… Dammit.
