When you’re on Indeed, and you see a job that looks interesting, click the “more” link just below the snippet.  What’s powerful is the ability to search some social networking sites (LinkedIn, Facebook) as well as Google for information on the company & its employees.   While I’m at it – use Google Finance to research a company before you interview – you may dodge a bullet, or learn something you can use in the interview to impress the interviewer.

Not familiar with Indeed (or its competitor, SimplyHired)?  Basically, job aggregators that crawl job sites (corporate, job boards, recruiting agencies) and put them all in one, free, searchable space.  You can filter out agency listings, do highly targeted searches (size company, revenue, etc), set up RSS feeds so you get new listings right away.  Good stuff, and way more comprehensive than the traditional job boards.
